Trendy Hudson Village. Butcher. Baker. Candle Stick Maker. Airport 45 mins.
Had I hit the jack pot? Still 1st impressions are deceptive. A closer look (or sniff test) revealed dry rot, musty odours, roll a tennis ball ‘slope-y’ sinking floors (gahh..glaring structural probs) all screamed ‘do not buy’.
So I walked away. One year later, as destiny would have it, I returned.

“Gussied Up For Sale…Again”

My 2nd time visit it was by accident. her super bright yellow facelift
threw me. Inside ‘fast fix’ reno’s tried to say updated. It wasn’t. Not really.
Still I saw huge design & restoration potential. There was a lot to do, or rather undo. But once the sale conditions were met, I was bringing this 50’s cupcake into 2024.
